A password reset link can be requested from the login home page of the app or user portal link https://webportal.purplscientific.com/login by clicking on the "Forgot your password?" link below the Login Button.


You will be routed to a page that that request for you to enter in the email address for the account you are needing to reset the password for. You'll receive a pop up message stating "Please follow the instruction sent to your email to reset your password". 



Password reset links will come from no-reply@spectralengines.com.. Check your spam or promotions folder if you don't receive it right away. You may need to add the email as a trusted sender in your inbox and then request another password reset link if you don't successfully receive it the first time. If you still don't receive it after adding as a trusted user, please reach out to Tech Support for further assistance. 


Be sure to send the password reset email link to the email account that's tied to your Purpl App login. You'll want to click and follow the hyperlink in the email inbox the password reset email was sent to. If you forward it on to another email account which isn't in the Purpl System and then click on the hyperlink the password reset may not successfully be saved.

The following is required when resetting your password for an established account.


1. Minimum 8 Characters

2. Contains at least one digit

3. Contains at least one uppercase letter

4. Contains at least one lowercase letter

5 Contains at least one non-alphanumeric Special Character such as an "!"or "~"
