Purpl Pro Battery Type and Information:

Type: Li-ion Battery

Capacity: 700 mAh

Volts: 3.7v

Recharge- up to 500 cycles

Rechargeable times: Up to 300-500 times

Charge the rechargeable battery only with a USB 2.0 Type C compatible charger. When you first receive your Purpl PRO, please charge the device using the provided USB-C Cable and any USB port or charger. It takes up to three hours to fully charge the device. The battery LED turns a solid green once it's 100% charged.

Please note: A fast charging cord is compatible with the Purpl Pro. However consistent long term usage will degrade the li-ion battery over time. It is recommended to utilize a basic USB Type C cord vs a fast charger to elongate the battery life.

It's advised by the battery manufacturer to not use the battery under the sun or high temperature. Do not store the battery under sun or high temperature. Do not charge the battery overnight. Do not overcharge or undercharge (keeping 20% capacity). It's good for the battery durability.

The battery within the Purpl Pro unfortunately does slowly drain even when fully powered down. Lithium-Ion batteries continue to slowly discharge (self discharge) when not in use or while in storage. This is because of the internal components of the Purpl Pro (LEDs), are still running in the background. You'll want to routinely check battery's charge status within the Purpl Pro App under my devices page. If fully charged and depending on daily use, battery life expectancy is between 3 to 5 days. Typical over night draining is between 10 to 15%. If utilizing constantly through out the day, battery may lose charge quicker.

The battery is not changeable by a user, contact the Purpl Pro Tech Support Team if you need to replace the battery. Battery Refurbishment Service Repair Request can be purchased on the website at getpurpl.com. Rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries have a limited life and will gradually lose their capacity to hold a charge. This loss of capacity is irreversible. As the battery loses capacity, the length of time it will power the product decreases. The estimated life on a Ion-Battery is about two to three years or 300 to 500 charge cycles. One charge cycle is a period of use from fully charged.
