Downloading the App:

To get started with Purpl PRO 2, you can download the app from the following platforms:


Creating a New Account:

Since the accounts from the previous app (Purpl PRO) do not roll over to the new version, you'll need to create a new account. The good news is that you can use the same credentials (email & password) for the new app version. Follow these steps to create your account:

  1. Open the app on your device and tap the "Sign in" button.
  2. You'll then tap on the "Sign Up Now" button. You'll first start by typing your email only.
  3. Once you've entered in your desired email address, you'll need to check your email inbox for the verification code link. You'll then enter the verification code below and click "verify code". Be sure to check your spam and promotions inboxes. If you don't receive the verification link, please email support@purplscientific.com. Verification links will come from an automated address: "msonlineservicestream@microsoftonline.com".
  4. Once verified, you can then enter in your desired password of choice. Password Requirements are the following:
    • Must contain at least 8 characters with no more than 64 characters, & have at least 3 of the following: 
      • Lower Case letter
      • Upper Case Letter
      • Digit
      • Symbol
  5. Click create and you will be routed back to the login page of the app. From there, enter your credentials and login!*
  6. Once logged in, you'll receive the following pop up. Allow Bluetooth. You will need to allow in order to use the app.
  7. The following screenshot is of the home page. Be sure the device is powered on in order to pair in app. If not powered on properly or bluetooth activated, Step 1 of Connect the device will be highlighted orange and state no device detected.
  8. Once you click on Step 1 or The Devices Tab at the bottom, you'll be routed to the "Devices" Page. On this page you'll see all the devices available for you to utilize. If it states "detected" then the device is connected via  Bluetooth properly.
  9. Select the device you want to utilize. Once selected, you'll see a check mark next to the Serial Number and it will state "Selected".
  10. Once the device has been selected, you will then be directed to choose which product you'd like to utilize to test. You can select by clicking the Products Icon at the bottom of the page or from the home page of the app which is Step 2.***
  11. Once the product/model has been selected, you will then need to calibrate the device if it's for the first time or has been over a week since you last calibrated. You'll receive a pop up message stating that "Calibration is overdue" if calibration is required before measuring.


PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: 


*Your account will no longer de-activate after 5 unsuccessful password attempts. Therefore if you forget your password and button mash too many times trying to login, you don't need to reach out to Tech Support to re-activate your account.


**You no longer need to register and de-register the device in app. If multiple individuals will be utilizing the same device, you no longer need to de-register for a user to login with their own credentials on their phone to then register the device to their account.


***At this time the trial version of the distillate product includes only the ethanol/methanol based extract. It does not include Super Critical CO2, European Hash, or updated Flower models.

If you were using our previous app, Purpl PRO, please note that data migration to the new Purpl PRO 2 app is not available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you would like to save your data from the old app, instructions are below.
