Anyone can sign up for the beta testing of the new Purpl App Version 1. Please follow the instructions below for downloading the app for iOS.


Feedback is greatly appreciated. If you run into any issues, receive an error message, or simply have any positive comments for us, we'd love to hear it. You can take a screenshot within the app and then it gives you the option to save your photo or you can send comments to the developer through the TestFlight App. It does ask for your email, but not required. Just the comments. Once submitted the screenshot and your comments will go to our Developer Team. Click Share Beta Feedback!



Step 1) Download the Test Flight App within the App Store on your phone. 




Step 2) The following link will be emailed directly to you. Check your spam and or promotions inboxes. Follow the link and following the instructions. Open the link on your phone.

Step 3) Follow the prompts through the Test Flight App Introduction to then download the new V1 Purpl App. The logo will appear as the following below on your phone.



Step 4) Once successfully downloaded, you be routed to the following home page. First time users of the beta will need  to click the "Sign Up Now" since an account hasn't be created. You'll need to create an new account for this new app version. The login's don't roll over from the previous app. You can use the same credentials (email & password) for the new app version. You'll first start with typing in your email only.



Step 5) Once you've entered in your desired email address, you'll need to check your email inbox for an verification code link. You'll then enter the verification code below and click "verify code". Be sure to check your spam and promotions inboxes. If you don't receive the verification link, you can submit feedback through the test flight app and notify the software team of the issue. Verification links will come from an automated address: "msonlineservicestream@microsoftonline.com".




Step 6) Once verified, you can then enter in your desired password of choice.




 

The Password Requirements are the following:


- Must contain at least 8 characters

- Lower Case letter

- Upper Case Letter

- Digit

- Symbol


Step 7) Click create and you will be routed back to the login page of the app. From there, enter  your credentials and login.



**PLEASE NOTE** Your account will no longer de-activate after 5 unsuccessful password attempts. Therefore if you forget your password and button mash too many times trying to login, you don't need to reach out to Tech Support to re-activate your account. 



The following error (Error- Request failed with status code 600 Internal Server Error) may be received, simply click the login button to try again. (still working this error out)



Step 8) Once logged in, you'll receive the following pop up, allow Bluetooth. You will need to allow in order to use the app.



Step 9) The following screenshot is of the home page. Be sure the device is powered on in order to pair in app. If not powered on properly or bluetooth activated, Step 1 of Connect the device will be highlighted orange and state no device detected. 


 


Step 10) Once you click on Step 1 or The Devices Tab at the bottom, you'll be routed to the "Devices" Page. On this page you'll see all the devices available for you to utilize. If it states "detected" then the device is connected via  Bluetooth properly. 



Step 11) Select the device you want to utilize. Once selected, you'll see a check mark next to the Serial Number and it will state "Selected". 


**Please note, you no longer need to register and de-register the device in app. If multiple individuals will be utilizing the same device, you no longer need to de-register for a user to login with their own credentials on their phone to then register the device to their account. **



Step 12) Once the device has been selected, you will then be directed to choose which product you'd like to utilize to test. You can select by clicking the Products Icon at the bottom of the page or from the home page of the app which is Step 2.


**Please Note: At this time the distillate product includes only the ethanol/methanol based extract at this time. We have not added the Super Critical CO2, European Hash, or Flower Beta**



Step 13) Once the product/model has been selected, you will then need to calibrate the device if it's for the first time or has been over a week since you last calibrated. You'll receive a pop up message stating that "Calibration is overdue" if calibration is required before measuring.
